Target Beneficiaries
*       Girls and young women between 15 and 25 years of age;
*       Pregnant women and women who may want to become pregnant in the next 6    months;
*       Children 0-6 months of age and their caretakers;
*       Children 6-24 months of age and their caretakers; and
*       Communities involved in community-wide nutrition related interventions (such     as hygiene, safe drinking water, sanitation, etc.).
Project objectives
*     To improve attitudes and practices known to improve nutritional outcomes of   women of reproductive age and children under the age of 2
Major Project Activities
*    Review the SHD project Operational Manual and Guideline, and other relevant documents and reports
*  The coaches have to help communities deliver all project activities that are referred in SHD Guideline and Manual at the village. If the coaches required some technical backstopping while implementing the project activities the NGO(s) should provide help liaising with the Project Management team and LGCDP Cluster Coordination Unit.
*   The NGO(s) should continuously oversee the delivery of project activities and take full responsibility of the project ensuring a quality delivery. 
*    Select the qualified coaches for the assigned VDCs and districts. The coaches should be the residents of the assigned VDCs with prescribed qualification referred in the Operation Manual. Normally one coach per VDC will be selected, but before going to selection process Project Management Team and respective District Development Committee (DDC) shall be consulted. The coaches will be hired in two phases as per the VDCs selected by the Ministry.

 Hotels of Prithivi Highway Corridor 
Project objectives
*     To promote commercially viable ICS for the hotels along the Prithivi Highway for healthy life, energy saving, carbon emission control and protect environment
*   To Increase awareness of hotel entrepreneurs and workers on environment conservation, impact of indoor pollution, climate change mitigation measures and environment friendly methods of hotel operation.
*     To provide alternative livelihood options for the poor people involved in supply of firewood.
Major Project Activities
*  Preparation of hotel profiles, focus group discussions, selection of hotels, collection of demands, coordination and linkages with stakeholders, formation of ICS users groups, community level planning of ICS installation, finalization of co-financing, participatory monitoring, etc.
*  Training: Selection of trainee (field promoters and technicians), training on installation and operation & maintenance of ICS, Distribution of spares and equipments.
*   Installation: Install different sizes of tested ICS in the hotels. Carry out post-installation follow-up to ensure the efficiency, durability and product design.
